Held at the Surya Bharathi Auditorium, Kolangattukara, the memorial gathering brought together eminent personalities from the social, cultural, film, and political spheres, alongside countless admirers whose lives have been touched by Janaki Amma's extraordinary musical legacy.

Presiding over the event, Mr. K. P. Manoj Kumar, Chairman of the Surya Bharathi Group, described S. Janaki as an artist whose voice transcended generations and whose contribution elevated Indian music to remarkable heights. He remarked that her songs continue to resonate in the hearts of millions, reflecting not only unparalleled musical brilliance but also the humility, grace, and simplicity that defined her life.
